Hosting a Greenprint Regional Workshop
Greenprint Regional Workshops
As a result of a growing number of request following our highly successful national workshop, the Sacramento Tree Foundation recently created the opportunity to connect cities and regions throughout the country to the Greenprint model by bringing Greenprint workshops directly to urban forest stakeholders, advocates, and leaders.
Recent Regional Workshops
- Greenprint South Mississippi: August 2007
- Nevada Shade: September 2007
- Houston Treeprint: March 2008

Host Your Own Regional Workshop
Greenprint regional workshops help provide urban forest advocates with details and
insight on moving urban forest projects from conceptualization to reality. Since every region and city
has unique strengths and challenges, we work closely with our hosts
to select topics and content to match your individual needs and
fully engage your stakeholders.
Workshop participants:
- Define their region
- Determine their urban forest value
- Learn techniques to engage government leaders, the community, and key supporters
- Create or refine their urban forest initiative
- Receive post workshop support through conference calls and online platforms
Please contact us directly at (916) 924-8733 to explore workshop
options and current availability.
