Laguna Creek TLC

Spend your morning with Sac Tree as we spread mulch around young trees to maintain soil moisture and help them guard against the summer heat. Other TLC tasks may include weeding, troubleshooting irrigation lines, restaking tree tubes, and cleaning up litter.

Sac Tree staff will provide all the necessary tools and supplies to care for trees, and participants will receive a short, hands-on training. After learning tool safety and techniques, participants will work alongside Sac Tree staff.

This opportunity is made possible through our partnership with the City of Elk Grove and through a mulch donation by West Coast Arborists.
