Pineapple guava
Feijoa sellowiana

What's not to love about this beautiful and low-water fruit tree? Also known as feijoa. Silvery green foliage and peeling bark are beautiful year-round, but springtime brings showy pinkish white flowers with red stamens that attract hummingbirds. Flower petals are edible and taste a bit like marshmallows. After a few years, this tree will produce tropical-tasting fruit in fall-winter, which can be eaten fresh or cooked into desserts. The trees we offer may be single or multi-trunk specimens.
