Chaste tree
Vitex agnus-castus
The chaste tree is a small but wide-spreading tree that is very useful for beautifying small areas. Its fragrant and showy purple flowers brighten the summer landscape and resemble the flowers of sage or butterfly bush. Chaste trees tend to grow lower branches, but can easily be pruned up to a tree-like form. This tree is very hardy and drought-tolerant but does not do well in excessively moist environments such as lawns. We may offer single or multi-trunk trees depending on availability.
