California Native

The California incense cedar is a tall and relatively drought resistant evergreen that makes a great alternative to the popular coastal redwood--it looks very similar and only requires ¼ of the water. The incense cedar’s red bark and foliage carries an iconic, fresh, mountain-like scent that earned the tree its name. This tree can grow slowly at first, but increases its growth rate once established and can mature at heights from 70-90 feet, while keeping a narrow form.
