The beautiful shade tree has an attractive winter branching form. New leaves emerge bright pink, turning bronze and eventually green as they mature, then finally transforming into a beautiful gold in fall. 'Espresso' is a seedless variety that originated in Davis, California.

Equine safety note: the leaves and seeds of this tree are toxic to horses when consumed.
