Red oak
Quercus rubra
We are not providing this tree at this time but it may be available for purchase from local nurseries.
The red oak is named for its lustrous dark red fall color. Some of its leaves will hang on to its branches throughout the winter, giving it a rather unique wintertime appearance. Trees in this family of oaks tend to have really strong branches. Red oaks can attract wildlife by producing an abundance of small acorns during the fall season.
