Western redbud
Cercis occidentalis
We are not providing this tree at this time but it may be available for purchase from local nurseries.
This California native is an incredibly low-maintenance tree known for its decorative fuschia flowers in the spring and round leaves. This tree is hardy and very drought-tolerant. Mature Western redbuds require little to no water and prefer to be planted in dry areas with good soil drainage. This tree’s canopy is dense enough to provide great shade throughout the summer before fading to a soft gold in the fall.
